Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StrataX and the services operated by Strata Labs, a brand of PANDOR MEDIA GROUP.

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access our services.

Service Provider

Strata Labs is a brand operated by PANDOR MEDIA GROUP, a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) registered in France.

Definitions

• "Strata Protocol": The open, decentralized communication protocol specification.
• "Relay": A server that stores and forwards Strata packets between clients.
• "Client" or "StrataX": The user-facing application you use to interact with the Strata Protocol.
• "StrataID": Your decentralized identifier, backed by cryptographic keys you control.
• "Packet": A signed unit of content published to the Strata Protocol.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating a StrataID or using our services, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

If you are using our services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Account & Identity

Your StrataID is controlled by cryptographic keys stored on your device. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your keys and any backup phrases or recovery mechanisms.

We cannot recover lost keys or reset your identity. If you lose access to your keys without a backup, your identity and associated content may become permanently inaccessible.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your StrataID, whether or not authorized by you.

Acceptable Use

When using our services, you agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Post content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Distribute malware, spam, or malicious content
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of our services
• Use our services to facilitate illegal activities

Content Ownership & License

You retain ownership of all content you create and publish. By publishing content through our services, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, transmit, and display your content as necessary to operate the service.

Content published to the Strata Protocol is cryptographically signed with your identity. Your signature serves as proof of authorship and cannot be forged or transferred.

We do not claim ownership over user content and will not use your content for purposes other than providing the service, unless required by law.

Disclaimers

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.

We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. The decentralized nature of the protocol means content availability and delivery cannot be guaranteed.

We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content accessed through our services.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STRATA LABS AND PANDOR MEDIA GROUP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred euros (€100), whichever is greater.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately. However, due to the decentralized nature of the protocol, content you have published may persist on third-party relays.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of La Roche-sur-Yon, France, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.
